Santa's Big Day Out 10am - 2:30pm - Saturday 12th December
3 Events 'Santa Paddle', 'Santa Bike' and 'Santa Walk'
Sussex Santa’s Big Day Out events will raise funds for Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue and also provide a $1000 donation to Sussex Inlet Youth Activities.
Register now for any one of the 3 events and help support the local community.
SANTA PADDLE
Paddle your SUP or kayak and join in the fun, Register with your mates, or family for a fun day on the water!
The Santa Paddle is managed by Sussex Inlet Stand Up Paddle supported by Sussex Inlet Chamber of Commerce and Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue.
Adults - $15
Child - $10
Family of 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children) - $45
1 Adult and 2 children - $35
All ticket holders go into the draw to win an Ocean & Earth Paddleboard Package valued at $1,979
Register online by 11th December and be eligible for the Santa Paddle Prize.
Late check in on the 12th December from 8.45am to 10am at the Lakehaven Reserve All Paddlers must attend the safety briefing at 10.15am Santa Paddle will start at 10.30am
Have you always wanted to join in this great community day but your not a paddler, well good news, this year you can join in the Santa Bike event on the same day and help raise money for our Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue and Youth Activities run by the Neighbourhood Centre. Santa Bike is being supported by the Sussex Chamber of Commerce -Chain Reaction Working Group to promote cycling in Sussex Inlet.
Depending on your fitness there are 2 Santa Bike starting locations
Leave from Errol Bond Reserve at 10.30am and ride along the Swan Lake pathway to join the riders leaving from Thomson Street car park near the small hall
Leave from Thomson Street at 11am and follow the Chain Reaction crew on the Santa Bike route to the reserve in front of Swordfish Brewing
After the ride join in the great community day with live music and fun activities.
Sausage sandwich and cold drink provided as part of your registration fee

Depending on your fitness there are two Santa Walk starting locations
Anchor Cafe reserve - start at 10.45am and wave the paddlers off
Chris Creek Pathway near the boat ramp start at 11:15am
Then walk to the reserve in front of Swordfish Brewing for a great community day with live music and fun activities.
Sausage sandwich and cold drink provided as part of your registration fee

Please ensure that you have read event waiver form and important event info document on the registration page prior to submitting registration form.
SANTA PADDLE EVENT DETAILS:
Depending on tides and wind the event start location may vary and all registered participants will be contacted prior to the event with any changes.
Collect your wrist bands and all participants need to attend the on site Safety Briefing at 10.15am prior to event commencement
Paddlers leave at 10am and finish at Ellmoos Reserve in front of Swordfish Brewing by 12pm and will be accompanied by Marine Rescue.
Park your car at Swordfish and use the Santa Paddle courtesy bus leaving from Swordfish car park from 9am every 15 mins until 10am or park your car at Lions Park and collect later

Ensure your phone and personal belongings are in waterproof bags
Marine Rescue will be providing a safety escort for the Santa Paddle
Life jackets must be worn by children under 10

All paddlers who register online by Friday 11th Dec will go into the draw for the paddler special prize of a Ocean and Earth Paddle Board
Lunch Info
Sausage Sizzle and a cold drink provided by Marine Rescue from 12pm - 1pm for all event participants and also available for purchase
Enjoy lunch on the Swordfish deck or buy a sausage sandwich
Bring a picnic blanket or chair

A feature of Sussex Santa's Big Day Out will be a 'Santa Paddle Board Jousting' Event, Kids Santa Doughnut Eating Competition and Santa Sack Races
