Santa Paddle - Sat 6th December 2025

Start Location: Lakehaven Reserve Next to Lions Park 
Finish at Swordfish Brewing on Ellmoos Reserve

The Santa Paddle is managed by Sussex Inlet Stand Up Paddle supported by Sussex Inlet Chamber of Commerce and Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue.

Santa Paddle raises funds for Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue and the Sussex Inlet Neighbourhood Centre Youth Activites  to help cover their running costs.

Event Registration Info:

• Participants must register for event, you can register and pay online here. If booking for multiple people enter all attendee names when booking.
• Santa  Paddle face to face Registration will also be available on Friday 5 December from 4:30pm to 6pm at Swordfish Brewing, come and enjoy Santa Paddle Happy Hour and register. 


There will be minimal last minute registrations available on the day of Santa Paddle from 9.30am - 10.45am at Lakehaven Reserve next to Lions Park. 


Registration fee includes a sausage sandwich and a cold drink after the completion of Santa Paddle.

• Family of 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children) - $45
• 1 Adult and 2 children - $35

Event Details:

• Depending on tides and wind the event start location may vary and all registered participants will be contacted prior to the event with any changes. 

• Collect your wrist bands  and all participants need to attend the on site  Safety Briefing at 10.45am prior to event commencement 

• Paddlers leave at 11 am and finish at Ellmoos Reserve in front of Swordfish Brewing by 12pm and will be accompanied by Marine Rescue.

• Park your car at Swordfish and use the Santa Paddle courtesy bus leaving from Swordfish carpark from 9.15 am every 15 mins until 10.30am  or park your car at Lions Park and collect later

• Transport for paddle boards also available but phone to confirm 0421 120 376
• Ensure your phone and personal belongings are in waterproof bags
• Marine Rescue will be providing a safety escort for the Santa Paddle
• Life jackets must be worn by children under 10

  Lunch  Info
• Sausage Sizzle  and a cold drink provided by Marine Rescue from 12:00pm - 1.00 pm for all event participants and also available for purchase  

• Enjoy lunch on the Swordfish deck or buy a sausage sandwich
• Bring a picnic blanket or chair


Santa Paddle Other Activities 

• Santa and Mrs Claus will be at the start of the paddle for Santa Photos
• Prizes for Best Dressed
• A feature of Santa Paddle 2025 will be 'Santa Paddle Relay Teams' and a 'Santa Paddle Board Jousting Event',Kids Santa Doughnut Eating Competition and  Santa Sack Races 

• Live music on the Swordfish Brewing deck from 2pm
