Sussex Inlet's website set to boost local tourism and business

"New website a holiday planning tool for visitors and a community portal for locals

The community website at www.sussexinlet.nsw.au has been developed by the Sussex Inlet Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Australia G'day and Chirp Internet web services, for the benefit and participation of the whole local community.

Sussex Inlet is located on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 3 hours from Sydney. The Inlet connects St Georges Basin with the ocean, making it a popular tourist destination for water sports.

The website is designed to promote Sussex Inlet tourism and business, as well as to inform residents of community activities. Its features include latest news and events; a local business directory featuring interactive maps; a register for Chamber documents; and photo galleries.

Future plans for the website are to complete a Members Area for community members to update their details in an online directory, and set up a facility for accommodation providers to view and update a calendar of vacancies. The calendar will enable them to redirect booking enquiries to available accommodation within the local area when their own facilities are full."
